Looking Forward to 2022

Dinner time at Maria

 November 2021

We have now started to focus on education and it has proven quite challenging. This is due to the remoteness of the village where the internet and electricity are sporadic. As such, one of the things we are working on is having the children attend a village-funded school, one or two days per week. In addition to a small tuition fee, this would involve a 40-minute drive to the school in a basic 12-seater motorized three-wheel auto rickshaw. Locals call it "bhut bhuti" as it sounds like bhut bhut bhut when running.

The school goes to grade 5, but all the children from Maria are welcome to attend. Once we reach an official arrangement, we let you know.
